What is PTS?

The idea for the PTS was first conceived by just a few women during many different nail appointments at the "Hawaiian Sun" salon.  With everyone so busy all the time with work and families, how could we all keep in touch and stay connected?   For a while, there were many weddings and other events that served that purpose.  But then what?  We needed a reason to get together on a regular basis. The senior citizens have their women's group, the "Red Hat Society", so we wanted our own innovative, more youthful name.  Cherise suggested the "Pink Thong Society" and we all immediately Loved and Adopted it!!  We decided that every month was too often, but that every Other month, 6 meetings a year would work.  Our first official meeting was held in September of 2005.  We take turns hosting meetings in our homes and all bring food and drink to share,  After a few meetings, we decided to start collecting a small amount for dues so that we would have a bank to use for charitable causes among other things.

PTS has now passed its Second Anniversary.   Our membership has grown and we have a specific function.  Every year, we will donate to organizations that render aid to women and children in need.  So far, it has been a very enjoyable, and successful venture!
